A National Trust attraction, located in the village of Llandairpwll, Plas Newydd House & Gardens is bursting with ancient stories of grandeur.
Inside, you’ll find historic interiors, the famous Rex Whistler mural, and a fascinating story of the Marquess of Anglesey.
Ideal for a slow afternoon, Plas Newydd is a great place to soak in some local history.



Oriel Môn Art Gallery & Museum

Oriel Môn is both a museum and an art space. It celebrates Anglesey’s cultural roots through innovative artwork and captivating artifacts.
With rotating exhibitions, a dedicated Kyffin Williams gallery, and a peaceful café (who do a fab selection of cakes, fyi), it’s a perfect indoor escape that blends history with creativity.
Oriel Mon Art Gallery & Museum welcomes children too. With a cosy corner in the museum space, younger visitors can enjoy books, drawing, and jigsaws.
Anglesey Transport Museum
Naturally, Anglesey Transport Museum is a real hit with motor enthusiasts. What you might not know is, it’s a hit with families too.

A lesser-known attraction is the Mad Hatter Pottery Studio in Holyhead. Here, children can escape the showers and get creative with Build-A-Bear, Clay Work, Foam Clay, and Glass Painting.
